Nick Saban and the Crimson Tide get QB Commitment

David Cornwall
Considered by ESPN as the No. 1 pro-style quarterback recruit, David Cornwell commits to play for Alabama's Crimson Tide.  Cornwell made the announcement today via twitter.

Cornwall joins a growing list of players who are signing up to be part of Nick Sabin's winning program.  The 6-foot-5, 230-pound quarterback from Norman North High School in Norman, Oklahoma had several offers including rival Auburn and Virginia Tech.

Today's announcement should give Tide fans something to talk about, and answer the growing question of life after A.J. McCarron.  Given Sabin's impressive coaching record at Alabama, and many fans speculating on another championship season, recruiting has gone well this year for the class of 2014 roster.

Alabama is ranked No. 6 in recruiting overall by 247Sports website and expected to rise.
