An announcement today from both ESPN and the Southeastern Conference regarding the Egg Bowl will see Mississippi State and Ole Miss play Thanksgiving night.  The game is scheduled for November 28, 2013 at 6:30 p.m.

The traditional season end game between these two SEC rivalries for the coveted Egg Bowl trophy, and bragging rights until next season, has been played on Thanksgiving in the past. ESPN will televise the game and according to one article this time slot should significantly improve viewers.

For those die-hard fans who made the Hail State or Hotty Toddy choice you will find a great evening of football after the traditional Thanksgiving feast.
